摘要: The thermophilic Campylobacter species C. jejuni and coli are important human pathogens, which major causes of bacterial gastroenteritis. recent progress in genomics techniques has allowed for a rapid increase our knowledge the molecular biology species, but needs to be matched by concurrent increases understanding unique these organisms. display significant levels genomic variation via natural transformation, phase variation, plasmid transfer infection with bacteriophages, this poses continuous challenge studies on pathogenesis, physiology, epidemiology evolution Campylobacter. In chapter we will review current state art opportunities where can further contribute successful pathogens.
