摘要: The reactogenicity and immunogenicity of a serogroup A C meningococcal polysaccharide-CRM197 conjugate vaccine was evaluated in 58 infants who received three doses at 2, 3, 4 months age. produced few systemic side effects, local reactions were significantly less common than those by the routine vaccinations. prevaccination geometric mean titers (GMTs) polysaccharide antibodies were, respectively, 2.8 0.6 microg/mL, rising to 21.5 38.5 microg/mL 1 month after third dose (age 5 months) falling 3.1 2.2 mircog/mL 14 Prevaccination serum bactericidal against 2 meningococci strains <1/4 49 52 infants, GMT 1/3082 age 1/10. Thus, this proved be safe immunogenic, inducing high levels anti-C that young infants.
