摘要: Neuroepithelial cells of the central nervous system constitute neuroglia (astrocytes, oligodendrocytes, and microglia), ependyma, neurons, which make up stromal brain. The tissue organization brain is tightly regulated, but occasionally signals that define normal contexts become disrupted result in cancer. Malignant progression then maintained by cross-talks between tumor its stroma, where activated stroma nurtures proliferative invasive neoplastic cells, providing neovasculature, extracellular matrix components, stimulatory growth factors. NG2/HMP plays a major role tumor-stroma activation through alterations cellular adhesion, migration, proliferation, vascular morphogenesis. Therapeutic strategies specifically targeting may be useful normalizing reduce toxic side effects when used combination with conventional treatments.
