摘要: ABSTRACT Women hold jobs in which they consistently experience less pay, fewer promotions, and favorable working conditions than men. Despite these differences, studies show that women report comparable levels of job satisfaction. Crosby (1982) referred to this as the paradox contented female worker. Previous work has investigated predominantly male settings. A random sample 359 employees at a organization is examined. Results confirm gender Surprisingly, pay positively associated with satisfaction for women, but not Also contributing weaker negative association workload women. Findings also suggest referring other are more satisfied. Context presented tool assessing existing theoretical perspectives.
