摘要: Large-scale comparison of sequence polymorphism and divergence at numerous genomic loci within between closely related species can reveal signatures natural selection. Here, we present a population genomics study based on direct sequencing 61 mitotic cell cycle genes from 30 Arabidopsis thaliana accessions the resulting data to close relative lyrata. We found that core (CCC) machinery is not highly constrained but subject different modes patterns purifying selection for cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK), CDK subunit, retinoblastoma, WEE1 gene families. Other CCC families often showed mix one or two relaxed other genes. several large effect mutations in CDKB1;2 segregate species. strong signature adaptive protein evolution Kip-related KRP6 departures equilibrium CDKD;1 CYCA3;3 consistent with operation these regions. Our suggest Arabidopsis, genetic robustness cycle-related processes more due functional redundancy than high selective constraint.
