摘要: Trees in the Morus genera belong to Moraceae family. To better understand species status of genus and provide information for studies on evolutionary biology within genus, complete chloroplast (cp) genomes M. cathayana multicaulis were sequenced. The plastomes two are 159,265 bp 159,103 bp, respectively, with corresponding 83 82 simple sequence repeats (SSRs). Similar SSRs mongolica indica cp genomes, more than 70% mononucleotides, ten coding regions, one exhibits nucleotide content polymorphism. Results codon usage relative synonymous show a strong bias towards NNA NNT codons genomes. Analysis plot effective number (ENc) five spp. showed that most genes follow standard curve, but several have ENc values below expected curve. results indicate both natural selection mutational contributed bias. Ten highly variable regions identified among 154 single-nucleotide polymorphism mutation events accurately located gene region.
