摘要: Abstract The present study describes a canine model of transient reversible blood-brain barrier disruption with hyperosmolar mannitol infusion into the internal carotid artery. Studies in this show that osmotic before intracarotid methotrexate results markedly elevated (therapeutic) levels drug ipsilateral cerebral hemisphere. Levels cerebrospinal fluid correlate poorly and inconsistently brain levels. Computerized tomograms provide noninvasive monitor degree, time-course, localization disruption.
