摘要: Human adenoviruses (HAdV) are the cause of many acute infections, mostly in respiratory and gastrointestinal (GI) tracts, as well conjunctivitis. HAdV diseases immunocompetent individuals self-limiting; however, immunocompromised individuals, especially pediatric units, infections high morbidity mortality. Despite significant clinical impact, there currently no approved antiviral therapies for infections. Here, we provide an overview different targets that could be considered design specific drugs against HAdV, available vitro vivo tools screening evaluation candidate molecules.
