Materials methods The data patients undergoing RP from 2005 to 2014 were reviewed. standard approach changed through years: RRP (n = 380, years 2008), LRP 240, 2009 2011), RARP 262, 2012 2014). Our analysis included last consecutive 100 for each technique A logistic regression model adjusted pre-and postoperative variables was done evaluate whether transfusion, conversion, post-operative complication rates influenced approach. Results associated with significantly lower blood loss (400 vs. 600 ml, respectively), transfusion (6 21 21%, shorter hospital stay 7 8 days, compared RRP, conversion rate (1 12%) LRP. Multivariate confounders confirmed that risk group groups. also complications trend favor group. 1-year continence higher groups (80 72 68%, respectively). Conclusion affected operative setting. advantages over (complications, stay, continence) as well, only exception being complications.
