Determination of clenbuterol residues in bovine liver, urine, and eye by enzyme immunoassay

摘要: Simple enzyme immunoassays are described which enable clenbuterol to be determined in bovine liver homogenate and eye (aqueous humour choroid/pigmented retinal epithelium) by direct analysis, urine following solid-phase extraction concentration. The sensitivity, analytical recovery linearity of response the assays proved appropriate determination cattle seven days after cessation a programme treatment (0.8 μg per kg bodyweight, twice daily for four days). Concentrations (range < 0.25 ng g−1 0.35 g−1) were approximately ten times higher than 0.015–0.030 ml−1). Although could not detected aqueous humour, epithelium contained concentrations ranging between 12 14 g−1. These preliminary findings clearly indicate that choroid may tissue choice use or abuse established slaughter.
