摘要: We have studied genetic divergence and phylogenetic relationships of Alpine, Spanish Abruzzo chamois (genus Rupicapra) by sequencing a region 330 nucleotides within the mito- chondrial DNA cytochrome b gene (mtDNA cyt 6). These sequences were aligned with additional ho- mologous Caprinae: Japanese serow, Chinese goral, Canadian mountain goat, Mishmi takin, muskox, Sardinian mouflon domestic goat. Results suggest that, using representatives Bovini as outgroups, Caprinae constitute monophyletic clade. However, inferred phyloge- netic among tribes poorly defined did not reflect cur- rent evolutionary taxonomical views. In fact, Asian Rupicaprini goral serow constituted strongly supported clade, which included while takin grouped Uvis. Therefore, monophyly Ovibovini was sequences. Species Rupicapra joined distantly related to rupicaprins Ore- amnos. these h There sister species Rupicapra, Alpine Abruz- zo (Rupicupru pyrenaica ornata) strictly (Rupicapra pyre- naica parva), previously suggested allozyme data hiogeographic reconstructions.
