Vesicular and Ganglionic Norepinephrine in the Rat: Progressive Increase with Age

摘要: : This study analyzed dopamine (DA) and norepinephrine (NE) in the synaptic vesicles cytoplasm of brains rats 2 months 14 months. The data revealed a clear NE increase 14-month-old rats, contrasting with cytoplasmic fraction rat brain, which remained unchanged age. Synaptic from different regions including those striatum, consistently exhibited higher than DA concentrations, suggesting that they are predominantly noradrenergic.
