摘要: Factors influencing the host immune response to central nervous system (CNS) tumors are not yet well understood. This review will outline what is known about anti-tumor responses against CNS and describe how advances in our knowledge of basic immunology may be applied brain tumor immunotherapy. We first focus on cellular interactions involved peripheral responses. Then, we discuss characteristics arising within confines that distinguish them from neoplasms, emphasizing defects seem limit or curtail specific immunity tumors. Finally, current state immune-based treatment paradigms future directions discussed, paying particular attention adoptive immunotherapy vaccine approaches for malignant gliomas.
