摘要: The implications of having multiple sclerosis (MS) for bone health are incompletely understood. aim this population-based study is to identify past and current exposures that associated with mass in fully ambulatory persons MS up age 50 years determine the prevalence low mineral density (BMD) group. We measured BMD (hips, lumbar spine, forearms), physical function, BMI, serum 25(OH) vitamin D 55 women 25 men MS. Patients provided information on demographic variables medical history, as well calcium intake, activity, lifestyle habits. In regression analyses, levels were adjusted age, sex, BMI. At femoral neck, strong associations found walking distance (beta = 0.152; P < 0.001) -0.004; 0.003), less certain male sex 0.055; 0.014) 10-foot timed tandem walk (-0.008; 0.013). 0.013; 0.006) possibly activity growing 0.035; 0.028) -0.057; 0.042), BMD. ultradistal radius, strength grip 0.001; 0.002), and, certainly, summer outdoor activities 16-20 0.021; 0.009), at onset 0.002; 0.036) Low (z score or -2) was present 19 out 80 patients. This shows MS-related differentially affect three clinically important skeletal sites. prevalent these young Bone should receive attention care
