摘要: Abstract The effects of prostaglandin E1 (PGE1) on the phenotypic state enzymatically isolated arterial smooth-muscle cells in primary culture were studied by transmission electron microscopy, thymidine autoradiography, and cell counting. Early (day 0–2), PGE1, stimulated conversion from contractile (less euchromatic nucleus cytoplasm dominated myofilament bundles) to synthetic (more cisternae rough endoplasmic reticulum a large Golgi complex). rate entrance into DNA synthesis mitosis was also increased at this time. Later 3–6), when majority had entered state, PGE1 inhibited cellular proliferation. These observations indicate that effect prostaglandins smooth muscle is dual nature dependent differentiation cells.
