摘要: The vertebrate kinetochore is a complex structure that specifies the attachments between chromosomes and microtubules of spindle thus essential for accurate chromosome segregation. Kinetochores are assembled on centromeric chromatin through pathways coordinated with cell cycle. In light recent discoveries how proteins assemble onto kinetochores interact each other, we review these findings in this article (which part Chromosome Segregation Aneuploidy series), discuss their implications current mitotic checkpoint models - template model two-step model. proposes Mad1-Mad2 at acts as to change conformation another binding molecule Mad2. This templated postulated mechanism amplification 'anaphase wait' signal. (MCC) kinetochore-independent anaphase inhibitor, role unaligned sensitize anaphase-promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C) MCC-mediated inhibition.
