摘要: Trypanosoma cruzi lipids contain a high content of unsaturated fatty acids, primarily oleic acid (C18:1) and linoleic (C18:2). Previous data suggest that this parasite is able to convert into acid; humans are not do this. Presently, we show T. has gene with similarity the Δ12 (ω6)-oleate desaturase from plants. Northern blot analysis oleate (ODTc) indicated transcribed in epimastigote, amastigote, trypomastigote forms. Pulsed-field showed ODTc located at distinct chromosomal bands on phylogenetic groups. In addition, chromoblot demonstrated presence homologous genes several trypanosomatids; namely, Crithidia fasciculata, Herpetomonas megaseliae, Leptomonas seymouri, freitasi, rangeli, lewisi, Blastocrithidia sp., Leishmania amazonensis, Endotrypanum schaudinni, conorhini. The nativ...
