摘要: An RF-based indoor localization design targeted for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) is presented. The energy-efficiency of mobile location nodes maximized by a medium access control (LocMAC) protocol. For estimation, resolver algorithm introduced. It enables with very scarce energy and processing resources, the utilization simple low-cost radio transceiver HardWare (HW) without received signal strength indicator (RSSI) support. achieving high minimizing resource usage, LocMAC tightly cross-layer designed algorithm. presented solution fully calibration-free can cope coarse grained unreliable ranging measurements. We analyze power consumption show that it outperforms current state-of-the-art WSN (MAC) protocols in node energy-efficiency. feasibility proposed scheme validated experimental measurements using real constrained prototypes. prototype network reaches accuracies from 1 m to 7 m.With one anchor per typical office room, room localized determined 89.7% precision.
