摘要: Human papillomaviral infection is now widely implicated in the causation of cervical neoplasia. Genotype analysis provides best guide to biologic outcome; most polyploid lesions regress and aneuploid ones persist or progress. This prospective survey examined relationships between cell ploidy 24 objectively validated criteria human premalignant change 52 biopsies from a dysplasia clinic. Histologic evidence benign warty expression capsid antigen production decreased steadily as DNA content ranged diploidy polyploidy aneuploidy. In contrast, increased with progressive distortion nuclear content. No absolute discriminants were found aneuploidy, evidenced by detection proteins three 21 epithelia recognition abnormal mitotic figures five 17 lesions. Polyploid differed only severity, it appears that some may be transition forms
