摘要: Photosystem II (PSII) is a multi-component pigment-protein complex that responsible for water splitting, oxygen evolution, and plastoquinone reduction. Components of PSII can be classified into core proteins, low-molecular-mass extrinsic oxygen-evolving light-harvesting proteins. In addition to these subunits, more than 60 auxiliary enzymes, or components thylakoid protein trafficking/targeting systems have been discovered directly indirectly involved in de novo assembly and/or the repair reassembly cycle PSII. For example, thylakoid-protein-targeting complexes chloroplast-vesicle-transport system were found deliver subunits membranes. Various such as PsbP-like (Psb stands PSII) complex-like atypical short-chain dehydrogenase/reductase family tetratricopeptide repeat assist stability Furthermore, series enzymes catalyze important enzymatic steps, C-terminal processing D1 protein, thiol/disulfide-modulation, peptidylprolyl isomerization, phosphorylation dephosphorylation antenna degradation photodamaged This review focuses on current knowledge identities molecular functions different types proteins influence assembly, stability, higher plant Arabidopsis thaliana.
