摘要: During the restoration of church "San Esteban" in Cuellar (Segovia, Spain) a few sepulchres were opened. Among them was that Dona Isabel de Zuazo, from 16th century. Together with corpse found series printed documents 15th-16th centuries, most which bulls indulgence. A microbiological study carried out using techniques isolation and molecular microbiology, together scanning electron microscopy. Most identified bacteria highly suggestive human origin, particularly predominance Clostridium species consistent flora intestinal tract. Our results demonstrate appreciable post-mortem migration has taken place to historic documents. This can be explained considering on pelvic region, contaminated by body fluids putrefaction.
