摘要: In the present study, Eudragit S100 coated Citrus Pectin Nanoparticles (E-CPNs) were prepared for colon targeting of 5-Fluorouracil (5-FU). pectin also acts as a ligand galectin-3 receptors that are over expressed on colorectal cancer cells. (CPNs and E-CPNs) characterized various physical parameters such particle size, size distribution, shape etc. vitro drug release studies revealed selective in colonic region case E-CPNs more than 70% after 24 h. cytoxicity assay (Sulphorhodamine B assay) was performed against HT-29 cells exhibited 1.5 fold greater cytotoxicity potential nanoparticles compared to 5-FU solution. vivo data clearly depicted successfully guarded reach wherein taken up showed an extended period time. Therefore, multifaceted strategy is introduced here terms receptor mediated uptake pH-dependent using effective chemotherapy with uncompromised safety efficacy.
