摘要: In Brazil, the data available on ecology of Neotropical otter in marine-coastal areas are scarce. The relationship between their spraint and environmental quality has been little studied. Environmental Protection Area (APA) Anhatomirim extends over about 12 km North Bay Florianopolis. this area two studies were carried out, one May/August 2000 other from January 2001 to 2002. first stage, signs characteristics registered; spraints collected rivers sign sites georeferenced. second a preserved non-preserved strip with high anthropological influence inspected periodically. methodological procedure was same as that used stage. Along (13%), footprints, excavations burrows all found, whilst at low degree degradation (41%), both footprints found but not burrows. Of 474 collected, 60% area. degraded area, 37% located 100 150m an urban nucleus. coastal APA, is very flexible capacity survive impacts, since these don't directly affect trophic chain impede making
