摘要: Syntenin, a 33 kDa protein, interacts with several cell membrane receptors and merlin, the product of causal gene for neurofibromatosis type II. We report crystal structure functional fragment human syntenin containing two canonical PDZ domains, as well binding studies full-length syntenin, tandem, isolated domains. show that properties are result independent interactions target peptides, each domain is able to bind peptides belonging different classes: PDZ1 binds from classes I III, while PDZ2 The merlin by syndecan-4 provides direct evidence coupling syndecan-mediated signaling actin regulation merlin.
