摘要: Abstract The mitogenic responses of separated rabbit lymphocyte populations functionally analogous to mouse T and B cells have been tested in vitro . Purified were prepared by passage over nylon wool (NW) purified treatment with antithymocyte serum complement (ATS + C). ATS C kills 70% peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL's) 50% the spleen while NW yields 40% applied PBL's 5–23% cells. NW-purified from or respond fully concanavalin A (Con A) but a reduced response phytohemaglutinin (PHA) little no goat anti-rabbit immunoglobulin (anti-Ig). that survive (B cells) are stimulated anti-Ig not Con PHA. do PHA will under appropriate conditions. full B-cell required removal Ig produced cultures blocked stimulation. It is concluded that, for lymphocytes, primarily T-cell mitogens mitogen. However, mitogen unfractionated PBL cell indicates an overlap reactivity. This could be due sharing properties, alteration fractionation procedures used, recruitment one population presence other population.
