摘要: Cartilage has a poor regenerative capacity. Tissue-engineering approaches using porous scaffolds seeded with chondrocytes may improve cartilage repair. The aim of this study was to examine the effect pore size and interconnectivity on repair in osteochondral defects treated different allogenic chondrocytes. Scaffolds consisting 55wt% poly(ethylene oxide terephthalate) 45wt% poly(butylene (PEOT/PBT) sizes interconnectivities were made, compression moulding (CM) three-dimensional fibre (3DF) deposition technique. In these scaffolds, seeded, cultured for 3weeks implanted skeletally mature rabbits. At no difference between an empty defect, CM or 3DF found. Three months post-implantation, significantly improved after implantation scaffold compared scaffold. Although not significant, Mankin scores osteoarthritis (OA) indicated less OA group CM-treated defects. It is concluded that influences decreased seems impair Copyright (c) 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
