摘要: Trichinellosis is a zoonotic disease caused by nematodes of the genus Trichinella. Humans, who are final hosts, acquire infection eating raw or undercooked meat different animal origin. Trichinella spiralis an encapsulated species that infects mammals and widely distributed in continents. In Argentina, this parasite has been reported domestic cycle includes pigs synanthropic hosts (mainly rats some carnivores). This first report T. opossums Didelphis albiventris Lutreolina crassicaudata South America. survey, larvae were detected enzymatic digestion three D. one L. captured on pig dairy farms located northeast Buenos Aires province. The microscopic examination 32 isolated presented diagnostic characteristic Two from two identified as nested multiplex PCR confirmed sequencing. Further research to determine burdens may contribute better understanding risk transmission populations.
