摘要: This chapter presents a ‘first cut’ regional vulnerability assessment that was undertaken for the South East Queensland (SEQ) region of Australia as part broader Climate Adaptation Research Initiative investigating adaptation human settlements to climate change in SEQ. Despite well-known shortcomings assessments, it is argued assessments this type can be used starting point enable identification hotspots within and thus inform planning policy determination. Regional provide insights focus policymakers across all sectors. They circumstances put people places at risk well factors reduce people’s ability respond changes.
