摘要: The neural crest is a migratory cell population that gives rise to multiple types in the vertebrate embryo. intrinsic determinants segregate cells from multipotential dorsal progenitors within tube are poorly defined. In this study, we show winged helix transcription factor Foxd3 expressed both premigratory and cells. genetically downstream of Pax3 not regions mutant mice lack crest, implying may regulate aspects differentiation program. We misexpression chick promotes crest-like phenotype suppresses interneuron differentiation. Cells ectopically express upregulate HNK1 Cad7, delaminate emigrate at dorsoventral levels. does induce Slug RhoB, nor its ability promote enhanced by co-expression Slug. Together these results suggest can function independently RhoB development progenitors.
