摘要: Electrospinning of nanofiber is growing interest especially in bone tissue engineering because its similar fibrous properties to the extracellular matrix. To this end, we have fabricated polycaprolactone (PCL) shish kebab (NFSK) templates. The novelty work ability control mineral orientation and spatial location on nanofiber, mimicking natural collagen fibers. However, NFSK templates that need be investigated terms cellular response including fiber alignment crystallization. In study, MC3T3 E1 preosteoblast cells were seeded onto determine effect both size cell metabolic activity. PCL was electrospun form aligned randomly oriented nanofibers, which then crystallized a solution pentyl acetate for 15 60 min, resulting formation homopolymer We evaluated proliferation alkaline phosphatase activity after 3, 7, 14 days coculture. Aligned polymer crystallization significantly increased at each time point. nanofibers resulted highest activities compared fibers noncrystallized controls. © 2018 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
