摘要: Novel amphiphilic fullerene[70] derivatives that are rationally designed to intercalate in lipid bilayers reported, as well its vesicular formulation with surprisingly high loading capacity up 65% by weight. The C70 bisadduct forms uniform and dimensionally stable liposomes auxiliary natural phospholipids demonstrated buoyant density test, particle size distribution, 31P NMR. antioxidant property of fullerenes is retained the bipolarly functionalized derivative, liposomal malonylfullerene[70] (ALM), formulations, shown both electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) studies vitro reactive oxygen species (ROS) inhibition experiments. liposomally formulated ALM efficiently quenched hydroxyl radicals superoxide radicals. In addition, fullerene liposome inhibited radical-induced peroxidation maintained integrity bilayer structure. This new class formulated, amphipathic compounds represents a novel drug delivery system for provides promising pathway treat oxidative stress-related diseases.
