摘要: Aim: To investigate hypoxia inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) and histone methylation markers as potential indicators of prognosis in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Patients & methods: The prognostic value HIF-1α levels was analyzed using Kaplan-Meier survival analysis. Results: protein expression higher ESCC tumors than paracancerous tissues. Histone H3 Lys9 trimethylation (H3K9me3), Lys27 (H3K27me3), Lys4 (H3K4me3) H4 Lys20 (H4K20me3) were significantly upregulated only positively correlated with H3K9me3 H3K4me3 expression. analysis indicated that H3K9me3, H3K27me3, H4K20me3 Lys36 (H3K36me3) independent for ESCC. Conclusion: This study identified a pattern epigenetic ESCC, their combined evaluation might improve prediction patients.
