摘要: The adenovirus terminal protein (TP) is found covalently attached to the 5’-ends of viral DNA molecules (Robinson et al. 1973; Robinson and Bellett 1974; Rekosh 1977). linkage through a phosphodiester bond formed between s-hydroxyl group serine residue within C-terminal domain TP 5’-hydroxyl deoxycytosine on (DesI-derIo Kelly 1981; Smart Stillman 1982). initially chromosome termed preterminal (pTP), it cleaved form during virion maturation (Challberg Stillmann 1981). functional significance cleavage unclear.
