摘要: An amicronucleate clone of Tetrahymena pyriformis has been found among the asexual progency irradiated cells strain EU 6000 (variety 6, mating type I). Logphase this clone, designated 6525, have a mean generation time (6.0 hr) longer than that micronucleate strain, (2.9 hr). Further irradiation studies indicate recovery viable populations is rare although many are surviving progency. Attempts to introduce micronuclei into 6525 by conjugation made. Micronucleate lines obtained from pair members only in low frequency. These resuits, considered together wtth those other workers, suggest some change state cell, additional physical loss (or gain) micronucleus, must occur before clones can be cells, or produce lineuges. aiteration may reflection change, it simply direct consequence micronuclear removal. The results further imply ciliate micronucleus unquestionably contributes information cell during growth and reproduction. (auth)
