摘要: Metastatic disease is the major cause of cancer-related death. Treatment advanced metastatic nonexistent in vast majority tumor cases. Even as study metastasis has exploded over past few years, many questions still remain. In this chapter, we will provide groundwork for a general understanding biology with special emphasis on microenvironment and cell heterogeneity; genetic changes cells associated metastasis; importance epithelial to mesenchymal transition senescence cancer stem theory; circulating timing dissemination metastasis.
