摘要: Thrombospondin is an adhesive glycoprotein that supports cell attachment, spreading, and migration. The murine thrombospondin gene approximately 18 kb in length includes 22 exons. Interspecific backcross analysis using progeny derived from matings of (C57BL/6J x Mus spretus) F1 C57BL/6J mice indicates the tightly linked to Fshb, Actcl, Ltk, B2M loci on chromosome 2. sequence very similar human (1) regions promoter, (2) coding region, (3) 3'-untranslated region. predicted amino acid mature subunit 95.1% identical human. sequences these two species are most at containing type 1, 2, 3 repeats as well COOH-terminal globular domain. promoter 5' flanking region some housekeeping growth control genes it contains multiple GC-rich lacks a CAAT box. presence various consensus suggests expression regulated by cAMP, cytokines, steroid hormones.
