摘要: Introduction Hepatitis A virus causes an acute infection mainly in young children. The present study was carried out to characterize the nature of hepatitis (HAV) involved outbreak jaundice Methodology Serum and stool samples from five children were sampled among 26 clinically diagnosed cases. HAV IgM ELISA PCR used for confirmatory diagnosis molecular characterization by direct amplicon sequencing analysis. Results All serum collected symptomatic cases found be positive Anti-HAV as all using semi-nested PCR. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that belonged genotype IIIA. Conclusions caused Improved access clean drinking water, sanitation around water sources routine chlorination poor developing countries are needed, well childhood vaccination under regular immunization programs endemic countries.
