摘要: Summary What is known and Objective:  It has been reported that ibuprofen interferes with the antiplatelet effect of low-dose aspirin. This interaction ascribed to steric hindrance at active site cyclooxygenase-1 by ibuprofen, when aspirin administered after ibuprofen. However, whether other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) interact similarly not well defined. The aim this study was assess influence nine NSAIDs on aspirin. Methods:  We investigated using steady-state plasma concentration usual doses. studied in vitro NSAID alone, before addition platelet-rich plasma. rates platelet aggregation induced collagen were determined. final used 50% effective (EC50) previously estimated vitro. Results Discussion:  Ibuprofen mefenamic acid interfere added latter. rate reduced 48·1% 22·7%, respectively. tested did significantly affect exposure prior None altered if administration followed aspirin. What new Conclusion:  Naproxen flurbiprofen have significant effects concentrations seen Our model suggests diminished taken after, but before, or acid. had any irrespective timing dosing.
