摘要: Abstract The efficacy of cholestyramine as treatment for diarrhea in patients with ileal resection was examined by inpatient and outpatient trials. Ten 12 having less than 100 cm distal ileum resected some remaining ascending colon responded to cholestyramine, 16 gm per day, a significant decrease fecal frequency or weight both. By contrast, none eight resections more responded. degree steatorrhea also predictive value since all fat excretion 20 day responded, whereas five greater Cholestyramine is useful symptomatic small mild steatorrhea. response may be further evidence that these caused bile acid malabsorption resulting increased passage acids into the colon, where they induce secretion salt water.
