摘要: Twenty DNA samples obtained from seven cases of inverted papillomas, eight nasal polyps and five chronic sinusitis were investigated by Southern blot hybridization for the possible presence sequences homologous to human papillomavirus (HPV) types 6, 11, 16 18. HPV type-6-related was identified in one papillomas. The restriction endonuclease cleavage patterns showed that this latter is a new subtype type 6 DNA. In other six papillomas all sinusitis, no sequence could be demonstrated, even under low stringent conditions (T m−40°C). These results indicate infection might causative factors pathogenesis but not essential induction tumor.
