摘要: Rotavirus is a major cause of acute gastroenteritis in young children developed and developing countries. The use probiotics for the treatment gastrointestinal diseases both safe easily accessible. In this study, we evaluated anti-rotaviral activities probiotic mixtures Sprague-Dawley rat. 24 litters with their dams were randomly assigned to four groups; placebo, phosphate buffered saline (PBS), two mixture (PRO-1 PRO-2) groups. All rats inoculated rotavirus at dose 8 log plaque forming units per rat 5 days old. Animals PRO-1 PRO-2 groups orally administered 1 or 2, respectively, colony daily during 4 days. For control purposes, placebo PBS same amount (containing maltose polydextrose) once days, respectively. Antiviral analysis was performed by real-time quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) observing intestinal villi. As result, weights small intestines greater PRO-1, than Villi short villous epithelial necrosis exhibited groups, but these morphological changes not observed treated rats. RT-qPCR showed that VP7 gene level fecal samples cells lower These findings suggest may be useful as alternative therapies rotaviral gastroenteritis.
