摘要: Abstract Addition of steel fibers in concrete improves the mechanical properties basic matrix as they slow down growth crack and creates pinching forces at tips cracks. Thus, fiber reinforced becomes a better energy absorbing material is best for seismic resistant structures blast structures. Relatively little research work has been done on behavioural aspects this under pure torsion compared to its behaviour flexure or shear combined loading. Earlier researchers [Int. J. Cem. Compos. Lightweight Concr. 4 (1982) 45, Indian 55 (1981) 222–232, Int. 2 (1980) 85] reported that addition torsional strength ductility. However, enhanced SFRC particular ductility can be achieved when minimum volume fraction content maintained. This investigation aims understanding plain members torsion. An empirical formula proposed predict ultimate
