摘要: Carbapenemases-producing Enterobacteriaceae (CPE) are a worldwide public health emergency. In Mexico, reports of CPE limited, particularly in the pediatric population. Here, we describe clinical, epidemiological, and molecular characteristics seven consecutive cases third-level hospital Mexico City over four-month period during 2016. The identified were three Escherichia coli strains (producing OXA-232, NDM-1 KPC-2), two Klebsiella pneumoniae KPC-2 NDM-1), one oxytoca strain producing OXA-48 Enterobacter cloacae NDM-1. majority patients had underlying disesases, immunocompromised, infections involved skin soft tissues. Half died as result infection. This study represents first report E. ST131-O25b clone Latin America. addition, this is finding K. OXA-232 Mexican patients.
