摘要: Data on a genetic marker linked to gene affecting an important trait could help us estimate breeding values for that more accurately. The accuracy is enhanced if many markers are used and genes bracketed by two markers. A mixed model analysis of this type data presented. appropriate arbitrary pedigree structure in outbreeding species. It uses “relationship” matrix among marked chromosome segments or QTL alleles. By using analogous reduced animal model, the number effects be estimated can greatly reduced. grouping strategy account crossbreeding linkage disequilibrium between alleles included model. For analyses cross inbred lines simplified. This simplification shows clearly relationship multiple regression models previously. simplified may also useful some experiments populations.
