摘要: Abstract. Monogeneans of the superfamily Capsaloidea have been a severe problem in maintaining both teleosts and elasmobranchs captivity. Infestations Benedeniella posterocolpa on skin cownose ray, Rhinoptera bonasus, provided an excellent model for testing effects trichlorfon (0-7ppm), praziquantel (20ppm) copper sulphate (0-25 ppm) adult monogeneans situ, monogeneans, oncomiracidia eggs vitro. One treatment with eliminated 100% worms from rays. Two treatments only 81% worms. Praziquantel killed all tested vitro within 6h prevented egg deposition. Trichlorfon 21 h, but some were deposited. Copper had little effect Both praziquantcl immobilized while effect. Eggs relatively resistant to these chemicals; however, most effective killing eggs.
