摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the effects of morphine given in brain stem on activity dorsal horn nociceptive neurons. Morphine activates descending systems inhibition, and contributes to analgesia produced. Whether intracerebroventricularly or intracerebrally, inhibits responses stimuli, including withdrawal reflexes organized segmentally, consistent with activation by a system(s) inhibition. Microinjection into midbrain periaqueductal gray (PAG) medullary nucleus raphe magnus (NRM), two sites considered important endogenous pain control, analgesiometric tests either spinally supraspinally. Bulbospinal monoaminergic are activated microinjected PAG NRM antinociceptive morphine, whether systemically attenuated lesions medulla spinal cord receptor antagonists administered intrathecal space.
