摘要: Abstract The influence of thickener and additive interactions on grease lubricating performance is examined. Polypropylene lithium complex thickened (Li-complex) greases were tested both as neat with a 2 wt% addition ZDDP and/or MoDTC. A combination MoDTC in the polypropylene provided lowest friction greater longevity compared to Li-complex same additives, independent sliding speed, contact pressure, temperature or type sliding: continuous vs. reciprocating. best antiwear greases. Depending sample type, EDS revealed presence iron, zinc, phosphorous, sulfur, molybdenum within tribofilms.
