摘要: Abstract A semiautomated fluorometric assay technique for homovanillic acid (HVA), a metabolite of dopamine, is described. The method based on rapid manually performed isolation HVA small columns Sephadex G 10 and an automated detection (continous flow). highly sensitive: 2 ng HVA/ml can be reproducibly determined. specificity the was confirmed by effects drugs levels in rat brain distribution throughout central nervous system: detectable were only found corpus striatum; nucleus accumbens tuberculum olfactorius. (80–120 samples/day), reproducible (recoveries 80–95%) applied to both tissue cerebrospinal fluid.
