摘要: Abstract The role of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) in the progression fibrosis during nonalcoholic steatohepatitis remains to be elucidated. This study examined iNOS by comparing knockout (iNOS−/−) and wild-type (iNOS+/+) mice that were fed a high-fat diet. Severe fatty metamorphosis developed liver iNOS+/+ iNOS−/− mice. Fibrotic changes marked Gelatin zymography showed pro MMP-2 MMP-9 protein expressions more highly induced than Active forms clearly present only tissue In situ strong gelatinolytic activities mice, but spotty activity iNOS−/−mice. may attenuate steatohepatitis, part inducing expression augmenting their activity.
