摘要: Apolipoprotein (apo) A-IV is primarily associated with HDL or the lipoprotein-free fraction of plasma, and in small amounts chylomicrons VLDL. The aim present study was to assess effect a fatty meal on postprandial variation plasma apo its distribution among lipoprotein fractions following absorption fat. Twenty healthy male subjects participated study. After an overnight fast, were given breakfast containing 1 g fat/kg body weight (% energy: fat 65, carbohydrate 20; protein 15). Blood samples taken every hour during next 10 h. Apo measured by ELISA. Postprandial lipaemia moderate, although significant, increase levels A-IV. increased from median baseline value 0.15 g/l 0.165 (median +17%; P < 0.01) 5 h after ingestion. peak occurred triacylglycerol peak. There no statistically significant correlations between lipids, changes levels, lipids at any time. To lipoproteins, fractionated fast performance liquid chromatography 3, 6 postprandially. substantial heterogeneity lipoproteins meal. At 3 ingestion, triacyglycerol-rich (TRL) decreased denser fraction. meal, still TRL but fractions. findings support concept that particles transfer lipaemia.
